Lawyers live in Microsoft Word. You will build the ZAAN experience they meet there and on the web: a review panel that ranks issues, explains its reasoning and applies a redline with one keystroke, fast enough that it never interrupts a train of thought.

What you will do

• Build the Word add-in with Office.js and React: issue lists, inline explanations, one-click redlines that respect track changes and comments.
• Build the web review editor on a rich-text engine (ProseMirror or similar) with collaborative comments and version history.
• Obsess over performance and accessibility on large documents; ship features behind flags and measure them.
• Work directly with designers and lawyers; prototype quickly, then make it solid.

What you bring

• 6+ years building production web applications in TypeScript and React.
• Deep experience with complex editors or document UIs: contenteditable, ProseMirror, Slate, Lexical or similar.
• Solid back-end fluency (Node.js or Python, REST/GraphQL) to ship features end to end.
• Care for typography, keyboard flow and the details users never notice until they are wrong.

Nice to have

• Office add-ins (Office.js) or Google Workspace add-ons; CRDTs (Yjs); localisation for right-to-left and CJK text.
